Booking terms
Booking Terms &
Participant Acknowledgment.
A clear understanding between us, so your time with Mirabela can remain relaxed, safe, and centred on the experience.
Last updated 27 July 2026Our agreement
These terms apply to bookings with Byron Bay Art Experience (we, us or our). The person making the booking is responsible for giving these terms to every participant included in the booking.
A requested date is not confirmed until we have confirmed availability, received payment, and issued a booking confirmation. Please check the confirmation promptly and tell us if any details are incorrect.
The experience
The Coastal Paint Session is approximately two hours and includes materials, artist guidance, local hosting, and the artwork you create. The price is A$250 per participant unless your confirmation states otherwise.
We meet at a suitable Byron Shire location selected with regard to weather, access, safety, and light. The meeting point is provided after booking. Transport to and from the location is not included unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
The experience is creative and personal. We cannot promise a particular artistic result, but Mirabela will provide welcoming, attentive guidance suitable for beginners.
Changes and cancellations
You may cancel or change your booking by emailing art@mirabelagallery.com. Cancellations received at least seven days before the session may be refunded in full or moved to another available date.
For cancellations received between 48 hours and seven days before the session, we offer one transfer to another available date within six months. Cancellations within 48 hours and non-attendance are normally non-refundable, although we will consider genuine exceptional circumstances fairly.
Safety and weather come first. We may adjust the setting, use a sheltered location, or reschedule where conditions are unsuitable. If we cancel and cannot provide a suitable alternative, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another date.
Late arrival may shorten the session so that other commitments and location requirements can still be respected.
Your acknowledgment
You understand that the experience may take place outdoors and may involve uneven ground, changing weather, sun exposure, nearby natural features, and the normal handling of paints and art materials.
You agree to follow reasonable safety instructions, wear clothing and footwear suitable for the location, act with reasonable care for yourself and others, and not participate while affected by alcohol or drugs.
Please tell us before the session about relevant allergies, access requirements, injuries, or other circumstances that may affect safe participation. You do not need to provide a diagnosis. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed requirements and will speak with you if a location or activity needs to change.
Participants under 18 must be included in a booking made by a parent or legal guardian and accompanied by a responsible adult. That adult is responsible for the young person's supervision throughout the experience.
Care, responsibility and consumer rights
We will provide the experience with due care and skill and take reasonable steps to provide a safe setting. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by a participant's failure to follow reasonable instructions, unsafe or unlawful conduct, or a relevant circumstance that was not disclosed to us. Participants remain responsible for their personal belongings.
Privacy and photographs
We use booking and contact information to arrange the experience, process payment, communicate changes, meet safety needs, and keep appropriate business records. Information may be handled by service providers such as Stripe where reasonably necessary to complete the booking.
We will not use a participant's identifiable photograph or video for promotion without separate permission. Marketing messages are also optional and are not a condition of booking.
Questions and concerns
Please contact art@mirabelagallery.com as soon as possible if something is unclear or if you have a concern before or after the experience. We will respond reasonably and in good faith.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The terms in force when payment is made apply to that booking, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
